Who Am I?

Before we can understand who we are, what this life is all about for us as an individual we must first be aware of our interests.  This is a start to understanding the whole "me."  This is the first step on the latter to self-knowledge.

I took what some would call a silly on-line test entitled "What Country In The World Fits Your Personality?"  Now, some people would call a test like this silly and can in no way tell us anything of substance about ourself.

I see it a little differently, I think any question we as ourself is a good question and we can glean something meaningful from the answer we get  Here's my results from that simple little test:

"You are a romantic who enjoys strolling through couple stone streets and markets.   You are inspired by art and architecture and thrive being around other artists and intellectuals.  You love to spend time in the warm countryside, sitting in a cafe and having a glass of wine or coffee.  Your soul is nourished by being in nature and by having a deep meaningful conversation about the meaning of life.  Your Country is France."

This is a very accurate assessment of some of the things that suit me.  While I sort of knew these things before in a very general sense, taking this test actualized it for me.  It brought an aspect of my personality into clear focus.

So, to use everything in front of us as a opportunity to understand our place in the world is the greatest gift we can give ourself.
