The Gift of Creativity

We are all born with the gift of creativity. The key that unlocks this gift is an open heart and mind.

When we walk through those doors we enter the realm of possibility. In this place we quickly realize that there is no limitation to what we are able to create.

When we have learned to navigate our way around this place we quickly become aware that the impossible doesn't exist and that everything surrounding us is there for us to use as a tool to build and manifest our dreams.

As a crochet designer, I use everything my eyes can see to inspire me. My antennae's are always out and ready to draw things in.

My process stems from a need to make things that has it's own personality and soul. Most of the time after the initial beginning the piece takes on a life of it's own and slowly begins to create itself using me as it's tool.

Anyone can do this. One just has to know a few basic stitches and have the desire to do the thing.

A color here, a shape there, a smell that suddenly hits our senses has the power to bring forth ideas allowing the piece to grow at it's own pace.
